Raised in the sloughs and marshes, hunting started early—boots muddy, hands cold, and eyes locked on the sky. What began chasing puddle ducks as a kid turned into a lifelong pursuit that’s followed the migration north and south. From chasing prairie ducks across the Dakotas, to running diver spreads on the Mississippi, to layout hunting the big water of the Great Lakes, the passion has always been about adapting to the birds and the water. That journey eventually carried east, battling tides and salt spray while sea duck hunting the Atlantic Ocean. Different waters, different birds—but the same drive to hunt them where they live.
